"Minnie,"
is an 8-year old mare that is huge in quality and pedigree. She is a rare Smoky black so she can produce colorful Morgans (buckskin, palomino and Smoky black). She currently stands just over
14.1H and she is an athletic powerhouse with a deep barrel, exceptional hooves and bone. Minnie's foal have been 14.3 - 15h and sold as weanlings. She carries 2 crosses to the 4 time World Champion, UVM Promise, and Grand National Champion, Futurity Cobra's Promise on her sire line. Minnie's 1/2 brother, R-Two Black
Jack, was Grand National and World Champion in Reining in 2011! She has a well rounded pedigree that can be seen here.
Minnie has not been formally started under saddle but was ridden bareback in a halter. She's been a broodmare and we feel she would be very easy to get started. She has had extensive groundwork training and she's confident and laid back with a strong willing attitude.
Minnie has had 3 foals to date and she bred and foaled easily. Her DNA colors are Ee aa N/Cr. She is healthy and without vices, and her health has been optimally maintained with regular vaccines, trims, de-wormer etc. Minnie was confirmed in foal to JMF Moonlight Bandit for a June 2025 guaranteed black foal; a 15.2h stallion that will likely reach 16h at maturity. She has been a part of the family and references will be required. Her price is $5,500 FIRM. Serious inquiries only, please.

- La Cheval Knight Royale x Shez Beyond Marvelous - February 2025 Color possibilities are 25% black splash, 25% Smoky black splash, 25% buckskin splash, 25% bay splash. This foal will be the last incredible Morgan foal out of La Cheval Knight Royale to be born at our ranch and we are anxious to meet him/her. This foal is not available in-utero. There is a First Right of Refusal on this foal so if you are interested, now is the time to inquire!

"We visited Selah Morgans to look at Selah MidKnight Highlight, ("Asher"). He was barely 2-months-old but already well grounded. He did not hesitate to walk with me on lead and was acclimated to a lot of things (i.e., electric clippers, fly spray, picking up his hooves etc.). We also met his dam Hazelrun Dominique ("Minnie") and his sire, La Cheval Knight Royale ("Knight") and they were both very calm and so friendly that we decided to get Asher.
Cindy is very nice and very accommodating. She's very honest and never said anything that her horses can't do. She constantly updated us about how Asher was doing and she provided pictures and videos.
We visited multiple times and on one of these visits nobody was there. Cindy said they were not available but would open the automatic gate for us if we felt comfortable on our own. This is when I realized how well Cindy trained this herd. They were in the pasture and slowly walked towards us when we entered through the gate. Even the stallion acted like he knew me all his life and was so well behaved and gentle.
Picking up Asher 4 months later was very uneventful and he loaded and unloaded without hesitation. After suddenly being taken away from his herd and thrown into a new environment, it did not phase him. What a bold and wonderful weanling and he is so very smart for knowing so much at such a young age.
