We are a small family-run ranch overlooking the hills and valleys in south central Texas. We produce quality splash Morgan horses with specific traits including disposition, exceptional conformation, and performance pedigrees that are supported by Morgan horses very familiar with the winners circle. Our foals are ideal prospects for pleasure, competition and breeding stock, and as a potential bonus they may be rare splash!
We are dedicated to producing consistent results with predictable traits so we can reduce the element of chance in breeding. This is best accomplished by preserving Morgan type, elegance, generously kind dispositions and balanced athletic ability based on a proven heritage.
Our 30 acre ranch is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Praha TX, an hour east of Austin, TX and approximately 4 miles south of Interstate 10.
Selah Morgan Horses was founded in 1999 with the first "Selah" foal arriving in 2000. We have successfully sold Morgan horses across the U.S. with exports to Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

A note about our program's name - Pronounced Say-luh, Selah is a Hebrew word found in the bible 74 times, mostly in the book of Psalms. The word's meaning is unknown but has been interpreted as an instruction calling for a break in the singing of the Psalm to meditate, contemplate or exalt, and it may also mean "forever."
